I provide the freedom and support to skip the cliche expectations of the industry in order to plan and create the most authentic, momentous celebration that emulates who you are as a couple. They help you gather your thoughts, establish a budget, then plan the wedding entirely. From vendor acquisition, to full wedding design, to coordinating the day itself - they do it all. Their work begins the moment you sign the contract!
They coordinate the logistics of the wedding that you have planned yourself. They remain in your corner from the day you hire them, but do not participate in vendor acquisition, design, or proposal reviews. Their work begins a few months prior to your Wedding.
The misconception is that a Planner is only a Coordinator, and a Coordinator does just as much as a Planner.
To get the most out of your Planner, it is recommended to make them the very first hire in your wedding planning journey. If they are not the first, then they are often second after the Venue. Since Planners walk you through the beginning phases of wedding planning, it is best to have them on board as soon as possible.
On average, Coordinators are booked 8-12 months in advance, however, they realistically can be hired at any point in the planning process. You are best off to book them sooner than later, though, or else you may miss their availability. As a bonus, they typically provide unlimited email access and therefore can serve as a wealth of knowledge for any questions you may have.
Now, whether it be a Partial Planner or a Full Service Planner, they are best suited for those who have a vision but aren't sure how to execute it. Both services offer guidance at a much deeper level than a Coordinator provides.
